Roasted Carrots
Ingredients
1 lb. Carrots, long thin best, peeled and trimmed
2 tbsp. Raw Honey or Date Paste
1/4 tsp. Salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp. Garam Masala or Sambar Powder, or to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Lay carrots in a single layer oppositely, sprinkle lightly with salt.
3. In a small bowl mix together the honey, salt, and spice.
4. Pour the mixture over the carrots and brush or spread evenly to coat.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until carrots are tender and browned.
6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately, sprinkled with parsley if desired, Enjoy!
NOTE: Roasting time varies depending on the size of the carrots and or scaling of recipe.
